Midnight Generation releases new single ‘Norway’

Mexican disco-funk band Midnight Generation has released a new single titled ‘Norway’. Frontman Fernando Mares stated the song was inspired by the band playing Trevarefest in a Norwegian fishing village and explores themes of impossible love.

Musically, the track features shimmering synths and disco rhythms influenced by French Touch and late-1970s to 1980s styles. The music video was filmed in a continuous wide shot at a park in Texcoco, Mexico.

The release comes as the band nears the conclusion of their North American tour supporting Empire of the Sun and Polo & Pan. Upcoming performances include a show at the Hollywood Bowl on October 8th, followed by a final stop in Las Vegas.
