Midtjyske Jernbaner delays Thybanen train takeover

Midtjyske Jernbaner has announced a delay in its planned takeover of train operations on the Thybanen line. The company was originally scheduled to begin a gradual takeover from DSB starting October 1 as a subcontractor.

In a press release, Midtjyske Jernbaner stated that discussions regarding the takeover have taken longer than anticipated, preventing the transition from commencing as planned. Martha Vrist, the CEO of Midtjyske Jernbaner, confirmed to TV MIDTVEST that while the process has not proceeded according to the initial schedule, the company is still working toward assuming operations.
