Midwest US weather brings showers Thursday and cooler weekend temperatures

In central Indiana, cooler and less humid conditions will prevail on Friday with highs in the low 80s. A new moisture surge on Saturday could spark showers and thunderstorms, especially across southwestern Indiana, where large hail and damaging wind gusts may occur overnight. Sunday will see a return to milder air with highs in the mid‑70s.
