Midwood Investment & Development appoints Aarthi Bansidhar as CFO

Midwood Investment & Development, a private real estate firm based in New York City, has appointed Aarthi Bansidhar as its new Chief Financial Officer. Bansidhar joined the company in June to oversee financial strategy, capital planning, and performance management for its national portfolio, which includes office, residential, and retail assets.

Bansidhar brings two decades of experience in finance and real estate to the role. She previously served as a managing director at Madison Capital for over 13 years and spent nearly nine years as a senior manager in the asset management practice at Ernst & Young.

Midwood CEO John Usdan stated that Bansidhar’s expertise will be invaluable as the company continues to expand its national portfolio. Current development projects for the firm include a condominium project on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and a 31-story multifamily rental building in Philadelphia.
