Midyat Justice Palace opens in Mardin

Turkish Ministers Akın Gürlek and Vedat Işıkhan attended the opening ceremony of the new Midyat Justice Palace in the Mardin province. The new facility covers more than 15,000 square meters and is designed to consolidate judicial services that were previously spread across different buildings.

Justice Minister Akın Gürlek stated that the courthouse serves a jurisdiction of over 125,000 citizens and houses 22 judges and prosecutors. The complex includes dedicated spaces for the Probation Directorate and the Forensic Medicine Directorate. The project aims to improve access to justice and reduce delays, highlighting initiatives such as the 'Alo Adalet 135' helpline for reporting long-standing cases.

Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan noted that such public infrastructure projects are intended to strengthen social peace and unity under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
