Mielec begins sewage infrastructure renovation

The city of Mielec is undergoing a renovation of approximately 1.2 km of sanitary and combined sewage networks. The project, valued at nearly 1.3 million PLN, aims to modernize aging infrastructure, some of which is nearly a century old.

To minimize disruption to residents and drivers, the Municipal Economy Company in Mielec is utilizing CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) trenchless technology. This method involves inserting a resin-impregnated sleeve into existing pipes to create a new, durable, and watertight layer from within, avoiding the need to excavate streets and sidewalks.

The works cover various sections of the network in the vicinity of Kilińskiego, Szalay Groele, Broniewskiego, Wolności, Warneńczyka, and Bajana streets. The project is scheduled for completion by November 30, 2026.
