Mieszkowice to host cross-border cycling raid along Odra River

A cross-border cycling raid titled ‘Po obu stronach Odry’ (On Both Sides of the Odra) is scheduled for October 18, 2026. The event will cover a distance of approximately 75 kilometers, traversing both the Polish and German sides of the Odra River.

The ride will start at 9:00 AM from Plac Wolności in Mieszkowice and conclude in Zatoń Dolna. Organized by the Municipal-Communal Cultural Center in Mieszkowice and the Museum of Remembrances of the 1st Polish Army and the History of the Mieszkowice Land, the event aims to promote regional history, nature, and landscapes.

Participation is free, though registration is required via an electronic system by October 16, 2026, or until capacity is reached. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI A Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Poland Cooperation Program.
