Migrant Orbin Henriquez Serrano violently arrested by Border Patrol in St. Paul
On Jan. 11, Honduran migrant Orbin Mauricio Henriquez Serrano was stopped by a dozen armed, masked U.S. Border Patrol agents at a Speedway gas station in St. Paul, Minnesota. After refusing to roll down his Jeep Cherokee window – citing fear after a recent ICE shooting of activist Renee Good – agents used a glass‑breaking tool to shatter the window, forced the door open, and physically pulled him from the vehicle, striking his knee.
The encounter was recorded and spread online, highlighting concerns over aggressive immigration enforcement tactics. Henriquez Serrano, a restaurant cook, had been warned by his manager to report to work despite the heightened presence of immigration agents in the city. The incident follows a series of recent ICE‑related shootings that have intensified protests and scrutiny of U.S. immigration policies.
