Migrant Women in Marina Alta Launch Free Digital Skills and Employment Program
The "Incluyéndonos" initiative, organized by the Federación de Asociaciones de Mujeres Rurales (FADEMUR) in the Marina Alta comarca of the Valencian Community, will run from mid‑September to early December. The free program prioritises migrant women living in rural municipalities but also accepts other local women when spaces are available.
The curriculum is divided into three modules: (1) equality and participation, aimed at building confidence, mutual knowledge and awareness of local support resources; (2) digitalisation, offering practical training on digital certificates, online administrative procedures, internet security, fraud prevention and social‑media use; and (3) employment and entrepreneurship, helping participants improve employability, draft CVs and explore business ideas.
FADEMUR tailors the content to participants' existing knowledge levels, seeking to boost personal autonomy, digital competence and job prospects for women in the region.
