Migros recalls breaded chicken schnitzels due to incorrect expiration date

The Swiss retailer Migros has issued a recall for its breaded chicken schnitzels (Migros Pouletschnitzel paniert, Aktion) due to an incorrect expiration date printed on the packaging. The error involves a discrepancy of more than one month: the packaging incorrectly lists an expiration date of October 2, 2026, whereas the correct date is August 28, 2026.

Migros warns that consuming the product after August 28, 2026, poses potential health risks. The recall affects all Migros branches across Switzerland. Customers who have purchased the affected product are advised to return it to any Migros branch for a full refund, even without a receipt. The warning also applies to consumers from neighboring Germany who shop at Swiss locations.
