Miguel announces 2027 South Africa concert tour

Grammy-winning American R&B singer Miguel has announced a three-date concert tour in South Africa scheduled for May 2027. This marks his first visit to the country since 2013.

The tour includes performances at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on May 21, the Superbowl in Sun City on May 22, and the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria on May 23. Vertex Events is managing the tour, with executives stating the goal is to deliver “world-class shows” and high-calibre experiences to local audiences.

Ticket prices for the event range from R950 for restricted-view seats to nearly R3,000 for premium seating. The announcement has drawn mixed reactions from fans on social media, with some expressing frustration over the costs while others expressed excitement to see the performer live.
