Miguel Di Pizio joins Western Sydney Wanderers

Midfielder Miguel Di Pizio has transferred to the Western Sydney Wanderers from the Central Coast Mariners. The 20-year-old, who rose through the Wanderers' academy before moving to the Mariners, aims to bring a winning mentality to a club that recently finished at the bottom of the A-League Men standings.

Di Pizio was a key figure in the Mariners' historic 2023/24 treble-winning campaign, where he became the youngest goalscorer in an A-League Men grand final. He stated that his move was motivated by a desire for new challenges after achieving his goals at Central Coast. He expressed a responsibility to help the Wanderers rebound from their recent performance, noting that the squad is ready for change.
