Miguel García Vivancos returns to exhibit naif art in Murcia
Miguel García Vivancos, a retired military officer and former exile, is returning to exhibit his naif art in Murcia at the Ayuntamiento's Sala Glorieta Uno.
Vivancos' artistic journey began in post-war France following a history of anarchist activism and military service during the Spanish Civil War. His style, which blends perspective with a colorful, naive aesthetic, was influenced by the 'naif' movement and the Sacred Heart Group. His work has been recognized in previous decades, including exhibitions in the 1990s.
