Miguel Ángel Durán Robles wins Coronango citizen consultation

Miguel Ángel Durán Robles emerged as the likely winner of a citizen consultation held in the municipality of Coronango to lead the Municipal Coordination for the Defense of the Homeland, Family, and Liberty. The initiative, driven by militants and citizens, saw over 4,500 participants voting among nine different profiles.

Durán Robles secured 1,568 votes, the highest among the candidates, which includes other participants such as Ana María Torres Terrazas and Alejandro Coyotecatl Xochimitl. The process was presented as a democratic exercise intended to allow the community to express their preferences for local leadership.
