Miguel Oliveira evaluates rising MotoGP talents

Miguel Oliveira has shared his perspectives on the rising generation of Grand Prix motorcycle racing talents, highlighting both the potential and the immense pressures facing young riders.

Regarding Maximo Quiles, who is preparing for a move to Moto2 in 2027, Oliveira warned that the high expectations surrounding the young Spaniard could be unfair. He noted the difficulty of transitioning between classes, citing previous riders like Jose Antonio Rueda and Izan Guevara who faced significant challenges when moving up from Moto3.

When evaluating the current field of young talent, Oliveira identified Pedro Acosta as the standout performer. While noting that many promising riders in Moto3 and Moto2 struggle to maintain consistency in higher categories, Oliveira described Acosta as the only one who truly distinguishes himself with the potential to revolutionize the sport.
