Miguel Pegacha named assist leader in Polish futsal league

Miguel Pegacha, a futsal player for Piast Gliwice, has been recognized as the leader in assists for the 2025/2026 Futsal Ekstraklasa season in Poland. During the IV FOGO Futsal Ekstraklasa Gala held in Poznań, Pegacha was honored for recording 28 assists, finishing five ahead of the second-place player.

In addition to his assist record, the 25-year-old scored 15 goals across 38 matches. His performance contributed to Piast Gliwice securing its second consecutive Polish championship and third title in club history. Pegacha's individual success coincided with other club honors at the gala, including Breno Bertoline being named player of the season and Juninho being recognized as coach of the season.
