Miguel Rodríguez prepares to face former club Celta Vigo

Miguel Rodríguez is set to face his former club, Celta Vigo, for the first time as a member of Alavés. The 23-year-old attacker, who was developed in Celta's youth academy, moved to Utrecht in 2024 before returning to Spanish football with Alavés.

Despite his potential, Rodríguez has seen limited playing time this season. In eight matches played so far, he has accumulated only 11 minutes of action, appearing briefly in matches against Osasuna, Valencia, and Racing Santander. Alavés manager Quique Sánchez Flores has defended the player, noting that he arrived late and without sufficient training, but expressed confidence that his qualities will eventually contribute to the team.
