Miguel Rojas announces retirement plans for MLB and LVBP career
Venezuelan infielder Miguel Rojas, currently playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has shared reflections on the approaching end of his professional baseball career. Rojas indicated that the 2026 season will likely mark his final year in Major League Baseball (MLB) after more than a decade of professional play.
Regarding his career in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), Rojas announced he intends to play his final games with the Tiburones de La Guaira. He confirmed that his farewell will take place in Miami during the ‘Choque de Gigantes’ series against Navegantes de Magallanes on November 14 and 15. Rojas stated that the decision to hold the farewell in Miami is due to family commitments following those dates. He expressed deep gratitude to the Tiburones organization, noting that the team was fundamental to his development as a Major League player.
