Miguel Rojas injury update as Dodgers prepare for NLCS

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on infielder Miguel Rojas as the team prepares for the National League Championship Series (NLCS) against the Milwaukee Brewers. Rojas sustained a lower back injury during Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves and did not participate in Game 4.

Following recent imaging, Roberts described the progress as “a step in the right direction,” noting that the results were not definitive but suggested the injury might relate to prior issues. Rojas has participated in some baseball activities and is receiving treatment. The team is delaying a final roster decision until they observe how the 37-year-old veteran handles a flight to Milwaukee and subsequent workouts.

The Dodgers are scheduled to begin the NLCS at American Family Field in Milwaukee, with Game 1 set for Sunday.
