Miguel Sierra undergoes successful shoulder surgery

Sevilla FC player Miguel Sierra has undergone successful surgery to repair an acromioclavicular dislocation in his right shoulder. The procedure was performed by Dr. Gonzalo de Cabo at the Hospital de la Luz in Madrid.

Sierra, a 22-year-old academy graduate who has been a standout performer this season, will now begin a rehabilitation process at the club's training facility. Medical staff estimate a return to competition in early 2027, meaning he will miss the remainder of the current calendar year.

The injury is a significant blow for manager Luis García Plaza, as Sierra has been one of the team's most impactful players, contributing goals and creating key opportunities. The club may look to Rubén Vargas to fill the void in the lineup during Sierra's absence.
