Miguel Silva returns to Oțelul Galați

SC Oțelul Galați has announced the return of Portuguese left-back Miguel Silva. The 30-year-old defender joins from U Cluj on a permanent transfer, signing a contract that runs through June 30, 2027.

Silva is a familiar face for the club, having previously made over 50 official appearances for Oțelul Galați, including a notable run to the 2024 Romanian Cup final. During his recent stint with U Cluj, he appeared in 21 league matches, two Romanian Cup matches, and two Conference League qualifiers, scoring one goal.

Standing 1.91 meters tall, Silva is recognized for his speed, technical ability, and offensive capabilities from the left-back position. Upon his return, Silva expressed his happiness to be back in Galați, stating his desire to write a new chapter with the team.
