Universitatea Craiova gains shareholder Mihai Bobonete amid transfer updates

Several developments are occurring in Romanian football. Actor Mihai Bobonete has officially become a shareholder at Universitatea Craiova, joining major shareholder Mihai Rotaru. Bobonete expressed that the move is a matter of pride and an opportunity to contribute his public image to the club.

In transfer news, the potential move of Jovo Lukić from U Cluj to Egypt's Pyramids FC has collapsed. While Egyptian media suggested the deal failed due to alleged heart issues, U Cluj president Radu Constantea dismissed these reports as false, stating the club simply failed to reach an agreement as Pyramids pivoted to other targets.

On the pitch, Andrei Borza made a solid debut for Turkish side Çorum FK, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw against Galatasaray. Meanwhile, Universitatea Craiova has secured a place in the Europa League play-offs following a victory over KuPS Kuopio, despite internal disciplinary issues involving player Ștefan Baiaram and injury concerns regarding Simon Elisor.
