Mihai Popșoi calls for return of Ukrainian children in Toronto

Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, has called for increased international cooperation to ensure the safe return of forcibly transferred Ukrainian children. Speaking at the second ‘Ways to Peace’ Ministerial Conference in Toronto, Canada, Popșoi emphasized that the return of these children is essential for reuniting families and rebuilding futures.

Popșoi also advocated for the release of illegally detained civilians and prisoners of war, stating that such actions are necessary to restore dignity and hope. He condemned the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and stressed the importance of investigating and holding those responsible for international crimes and human rights violations accountable to ensure justice and a more secure future.
