Miho Watanabe and Masahiro Sunada to star in October drama ‘Uso wo Tsuita Watashitachi’

The drama series ‘Uso wo Tsuita Watashitachi’ (The Lies We Told) is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026. The production features a quartet of lead actors: Miho Watanabe, Masahiro Sunada of BALLISTIK BOYZ, Rina Asakawa, and Masashi Ikeda.

Based on the manga by Tamaiizumi, the romantic suspense story follows four childhood friends whose lives begin to unravel following a marriage announcement. The plot explores the hidden faces and long-held lies of the characters as their relationships are tested.

Broadcasting schedules include TV Osaka starting October 8, BS TV Tokyo starting October 11, and TV Aichi starting October 13. The series will also be available for streaming on TVer.
