miHoYo ends partnership with Yunnan Haoxi over unpaid creator fees

miHoYo announced it has terminated its cooperation with Yunnan Haoxi Cultural Media Co. after numerous creators reported that payments owed to them through the agency had not been received. The company said it had set up a dedicated communication channel, contacted over a hundred affected creators and confirmed that its own payments to Yunnan Haoxi were made according to contract terms. After sending a formal letter demanding resolution, Yunnan Haoxi failed to respond or take corrective action. Consequently, miHoYo added the firm to its permanent blacklist and pledged to continue supporting creators in pursuing legal remedies, offering direct contact through its official channels. The statement emphasized that “miHoYo always places creator rights in an important position and will keep communicating with the affected creators.”
