Mijas to host 14th Moonlight Full Moon Horseback Route

The town of Mijas will host the 14th Moonlight Full Moon Horseback Route on Saturday, August 29. Organized by the Peña Caballista Mijas in collaboration with the local City Council, the event is a long-standing fixture in the local equestrian calendar.

The ride is scheduled to begin at 20:30 from the club's headquarters in El Esparragal and is expected to last approximately three hours. The itinerary will head toward the Fuengirola River and continue to Arroyo Seco, featuring various stops along the way.

Local officials and organizers noted that the nighttime setting offers a unique, tranquil experience with less noise and vehicle traffic. The event is open to all horse enthusiasts, regardless of membership status, and will include veterinary and farrier assistance as well as refreshment points.
