Mika Godts joins Paris Saint-Germain from Ajax for €45 million

Belgian attacker Mika Godts has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Ajax Amsterdam in a transfer valued at 45 million euros. The move, finalized on August 15, 2026, sees the player signed on a contract running until 2031. Godts, who previously developed through RSC Anderlecht and KRC Genk, was identified as a priority signing by manager Luis Enrique to replace Bradley Barcola.

Godts arrives in Paris following a highly successful period in the Eredivisie, where he was named the Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year for the 2025-2026 season. During his final season with Ajax, he recorded 17 goals and 15 assists.

In recent comments, Godts expressed gratitude toward Ajax fans and staff, noting a smooth transition to his new club. He stated that he aimed to demonstrate his abilities immediately during training to validate the club's investment. He is expected to make his debut for PSG during the away match against Rennes on August 23, 2026.
