Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron to fight for super-welterweight titles

Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron are set to face each other in a high-stakes super-welterweight unification bout at Birmingham's BP Pulse LIVE Arena on Saturday, August 29. The fight, headlined by Most Valuable Promotions, will see three of the four major world titles on the line: Mayer currently holds the WBA and WBC belts, while Cameron holds the WBO title.

The event features a UK vs USA theme, with American fighters facing British opponents in nearly every contest on the card. In addition to the main event, the card includes a lightweight bout between unified WBC and WBO champion Caroline Dubois and Amelia Moore. The fight is scheduled to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, with ring walks expected between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM.

Both fighters are established veterans with significant professional records. Mayer, a former US Olympian, enters with 22 wins and two losses, while Cameron holds 22 wins and one loss. The winner of the unification match will move significantly closer to undisputed status in the 154lb division.
