Mikaele Ravalawa loaned to Doncaster by Castleford Tigers

Fijian international winger Mikaele Ravalawa has been sent on loan from Super League club Castleford Tigers to Championship side Doncaster RLFC with immediate effect. The move, lasting until the end of the 2026 season, is intended to give the player more game time after a debut season marred by injuries and limited impact – he has scored four tries in ten appearances for Castleford.

Castleford's head coach Ryan Carr confirmed the loan as a chance for Ravalawa to regain form, while Doncaster, currently sixth in the Championship and pushing for a playoff spot, will add his size and pace to their back‑line. The loan follows recent injury setbacks to other Castleford backs, creating a need for fresh options on the wing.
