Mike Bongiorno exhibition extended at Teatro Ariston

The exhibition ‘Mike Bongiorno. L’uomo, il mito’ at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo has been extended until December 18, 2026, due to significant public interest. To mark the 17th anniversary of the presenter's death, admission to the exhibit will be free on September 8.

Curated by Nicolò Bongiorno, the exhibition traces the career of the iconic television host through photographs, personal documents, and audiovisual materials. It highlights his major successes, such as ‘Lascia o raddoppia?’ and ‘Rischiatutto’, his eleven years hosting the Sanremo Music Festival, and his influence on the evolution of Italian television from the RAI era to the rise of commercial networks.

The collection also explores Bongiorno's personal life, including his roots in New York and Turin, his service in the Resistance during World War II, and his enduring connection to the Italian public.
