Mike Fernie finds Bugatti Veyron impractical as daily driver in the UK

Ex‑DriveTribe presenter Mike Fernie spent 12 hours behind the wheel of a $2.1 million Bugatti Veyron on ordinary UK roads, attempting to use the hypercar as a normal everyday vehicle. He reported that the car’s ultra‑low ride height and near‑non‑existent rear window made visibility and parking extremely difficult. Speed‑bumps and uneven surfaces caused the Veyron to bottom‑out frequently, though Fernie noted that the suspension was "quite supple" and absorbed bumps better than expected. The massive engine was not the main issue; instead, everyday practicality, driver comfort and safety concerns proved the biggest hurdles.
