Mike Maignan calls for calm after AC Milan loss to Bologna

AC Milan captain and goalkeeper Mike Maignan addressed the media following a 2-4 home defeat against Bologna in Serie A. Maignan attended a press conference to support his teammates and prevent unnecessary negativity within the club following their second loss in three matches.

Addressing the team's defensive vulnerabilities, Maignan noted that Milan becomes susceptible to counter-attacks when they lose possession. He emphasized the need to improve defensive focus and aggression, particularly within the penalty area, where Bologna proved more effective.

Looking ahead to the upcoming derby against Inter, Maignan urged fans and critics to avoid making premature conclusions about the team's strength. He stressed the importance of maintaining composure and focus, stating that the season is long and the club must remain positive to move forward.
