Mike Morreale introduced as Ottawa Redblacks president

Mike Morreale has been formally introduced as the new president of the Ottawa Redblacks. A former CFL receiver who won two Grey Cups with the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Morreale brings experience from the Canadian Elite Basketball League to his new executive role.

Morreale assumes leadership during a challenging period for the franchise, which holds a 1-16 record heading into its final regular-season game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Regarding the future of head coach and general manager Ryan Dinwiddie, Morreale indicated that the organization will conduct a performance review. While Dinwiddie is under contract through 2028, Morreale noted that discussions regarding the coaching staff will be open and transparent, acknowledging that the team inherited significant difficulties from previous seasons.
