Mike Perry leaves BKFC to return to MMA

Mike Perry has announced his departure from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) to focus exclusively on mixed martial arts (MMA) for the foreseeable future. Perry, who earned the ceremonial ‘King of Violence’ title during his undefeated 6-0 run in BKFC, stated that he intends to compete with gloves for at least the next two years.

During his tenure in BKFC, Perry secured notable victories over Michael Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez. His last bare-knuckle bout was a win against Jeremy Stephens in October 2025.

Following his exit, Perry is considered a major free agent in the combat sports industry. While he has not confirmed his next promotional home, potential options include a return to the UFC or re-signing with MVP MMA, where he recently secured a doctor-stoppage victory over Nate Diaz.
