Mike Rogers Holds Lead Over Democrat in Michigan Senate Poll

A Glengariff Group telephone poll of 600 likely Michigan voters conducted July 22‑25, 2026 shows former Rep. Mike Rogers (R‑MI) ahead of the likely Democratic nominee. If the Democratic field is represented by far‑left candidate Abdul El‑Sayed, Rogers leads 49.0% to 38.7%, a 10.3‑point advantage; among definite voters the margin is 48.0% to 40.8%. In a hypothetical matchup with Rep. Haley Stevens (D‑MI), the race is essentially tied, with Stevens at 45.5% to Rogers’ 44.7% and a 0.8‑point lead that widens to 46.8% to 44.8% among definite voters. The poll, commissioned by the Michigan Education Association and Business Leaders for Michigan, reports a margin of error of ±4.0 points. Demographic breakdowns show Stevens ahead among women and in Metro Detroit, while Rogers leads men, independents and out‑state voters.
