Mike Solan appointed Offaly senior football manager

Offaly GAA has announced Mike Solan as the new senior football manager on a three-year term. Solan, who most recently managed Longford, will be proposed for ratification at the September County Board meeting.

Solan will be supported by coaches and selectors Joe Keane and Nigel Dunne. Keane previously worked with Solan at the Mayo U21 level, while Dunne is a former Offaly senior footballer who recently served as head coach for the county's minors and U20 teams.

Solan succeeds joint-managers Declan Kelly and Mickey Harte, who resigned following the conclusion of Offaly's 2026 campaign. Solan brings significant inter-county experience, having previously led Mayo to an All-Ireland U21 title in 2016 and served as assistant manager for Leitrim.
