Mike Stern Band performs jazz concerts in Europe

Jazz guitarist Mike Stern is performing with his band at various venues, including Bremen Teater and Jazz Club Minden. Stern, a prominent figure in modern jazz since the 1980s, is known for his work with Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, and Michael Brecker.

His performance in Minden is part of a series dedicated to the musical legacy of Miles Davis. The band features Leni Stern on second guitar, Chris Minh Doky on bass, Dennis Chambers on drums, and Bob Franceschini on saxophone. The event coincides with a documentary screening titled ‘Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool’ at Kleine Kino Am Weingarten.
