Mike Tindall discusses father's death after Parkinson's battle

Mike Tindall has shared details regarding the final months of his father Phil Tindall, who passed away at age 80 following a 20-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Speaking on an edition of his podcast, ‘The Good, The Bad & The Rugby’, Tindall described the final three months as “horrible” to witness. He noted that during his father's last three weeks, Phil had only been “properly awake” once. Tindall expressed that while the decline was difficult, there was a sense of relief that his father was now “free from his body” after living a great life.

Tindall also acknowledged the Otley Rugby Club in West Yorkshire for honoring his father with a minute of silence during a recent match, noting that Phil had served as the club's captain in 1972 and 1973.
