Mike Tomlin draws interest from unnamed NFC team

Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is reportedly drawing interest from an unnamed NFC team as he considers a return to coaching. After resigning following the 2025 campaign to work in sports media, Tomlin is expected to eventually return to the sidelines.

Reports indicate that Tomlin has established connections to the Dallas Cowboys organization. Stephen Jones has previously described Tomlin as “one of the great defensive minds in this game,” noting his professional history with coaches such as Monte Kiffin and Rod Marinelli, both of whom have ties to Dallas. Additionally, current Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has publicly identified Tomlin as a friend.
