Mike Tomlin discusses potential coaching return and Josh Allen

Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who recently transitioned to a media role with NBC Sports, has indicated he is not ruling out a return to NFL coaching. While stating it is ‘not a 32-team league’ for him, Tomlin expressed a continued passion for the profession and the development of young athletes.

During an appearance on the PFF NFL Show, Tomlin identified Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen as the player he would most love to coach, noting that Allen appears ‘built for it’ and excels in critical moments.

Meanwhile, within the Steelers organization, quarterback Aaron Rodgers has discussed his relationship with the team's current coaching structure. Rodgers expressed excitement about working with play-caller Mike McCarthy, noting a high level of mutual trust despite McCarthy’s distinct accent. Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis also shared optimism regarding the Steelers' roster upgrades, such as the additions of Michael Pittman Jr. and Rico Dowdle, as the team seeks to end its playoff drought.
