Mike Tyson to be honored in São Paulo at Kings Championship

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will travel to Brazil to be honored for the 40th anniversary of his first WBC world title win. The celebration is scheduled for November 21 during the Kings Championship 3 event, organized by Rafael Cordeiro, at the Mauro Pinheiro Gymnasium in São Paulo.

Tyson achieved his historic title in 1986 at the age of 20 by knocking out Trevor Berbick in Las Vegas, making him the youngest heavyweight champion in history. During the event, Tyson is expected to appear alongside Acelino Popó Freitas and Rafael Cordeiro to announce a joint project, though no fights are scheduled for him.

In addition to the ceremony, Tyson will participate in a press conference and attend a trade fair to promote his cannabis-derived product brand. He is also scheduled to visit the Brazilian Boxing Confederation training center to meet children involved in a social project.
