Mike Vrabel addresses offseason counseling during press conference

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel addressed his offseason marriage counseling during a press conference on Tuesday. The sessions were reportedly sought following a scandal involving photos of Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini.

When asked how he balanced the personal commitment with preparing for the upcoming season, Vrabel pivoted to a discussion on improvement. He stated, “I think we always look at improvement. As we talk about getting ready for the next season, we always look at improvement and ways that we can improve individually and how we can improve as a team.”

Vrabel previously stepped away from the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling with his wife, Jen, after media coverage emerged of him and Russini. While Russini stepped down from her role as an NFL insider in April, neither party has publicly admitted to an affair.
