Mike Vrabel fined $250,000 by NFL for conduct toward officials

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has been fined $250,000 by the NFL for “conduct toward officials.” The penalty stems from a confrontation Vrabel had with an official during a Week 4 game.

Vrabel addressed the incident following the game, stating he told the official it was a “terrible” call but denied using derogatory language, suggesting the official may have been “a little sensitive.”

Reports indicate that Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni and New York Jets coach Aaron Glenn also received $250,000 fines for similar actions. These penalties are reportedly being held in abeyance, meaning they could be repealed if the coaches maintain good behavior.
