Mike Washington Jr. and Jonah Coleman emerge as fantasy football sleepers

Rookie running backs Mike Washington Jr. and Jonah Coleman are emerging as potential fantasy football sleepers following impressive preseason performances.

Mike Washington Jr., a fourth-round pick by the Las Vegas Raiders, has drawn attention for his elite athleticism. He recorded a 4.33-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the highest Raw Athletic Score for a running back since 1987. During the preseason, he averaged 7.9 yards per carry, totaling 119 yards on 15 carries. While he may not see a full season-long workload, his speed and vision make him a notable option, especially if injuries affect team starters.

Jonah Coleman has also impressed the Denver Broncos coaching staff. Head coach Sean Payton noted Coleman’s strong performance during training camp and early preseason, leading to the rookie being pulled early in his debut. Coleman recorded 24 yards on four carries in his first preseason game.
