Mikey Madison discusses ‘The Social Reckoning’ and red carpet appearance

Actress Mikey Madison has discussed the challenges of her role in ‘The Social Reckoning,’ a film centered on real-life Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen. Madison described the experience of portraying Haugen as “scary” due to the shift from her previous high-intensity roles to a performance requiring more restraint and cerebral precision. She noted that taking on roles that feel difficult to pull off is part of her desire to stretch herself as an artist.

In addition to her performance, Madison made a notable appearance at the New York premiere of the film. She wore a custom, sheer, and heavily beaded Vivienne Westwood gown that featured the brand’s signature sculpted corsetry and hip shaping, paired with transparent mesh that revealed the garment’s internal structure.
