Mikey Moore Holds Out for Top‑League Move, Rangers' Transfer Plans Stalled

Tottenham Hotspur forward Mikey Moore, 18, spent last season on loan at Scottish Premiership club Rangers, scoring seven league goals and providing three assists. After the loan, he returned to Spurs' pre‑season tour in Australia, featuring in a 2‑0 win over Auckland FC but missing the 1‑1 draw with Sydney FC. Moore is now reported to be holding out for a move to one of Europe’s top‑five leagues – the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga or Ligue 1 – rather than returning to Rangers.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes, who has already added Finnish winger Oliver Antman and is targeting Serie A winger Fares Ghedjemis, hoped to bring Moore back to Ibrox but his stance may delay any deal. Tottenham coach Roberto De Zerbi said the club is still assessing its options and has not confirmed Moore’s role for the upcoming season. The situation leaves both clubs uncertain about their winger recruitment plans.
