Mikey Moore linked to FC Köln loan amid Tottenham squad changes

Tottenham Hotspur winger Mikey Moore is the subject of transfer interest from FC Köln, who have reportedly reached an agreement with both the player and Tottenham for a one-year loan deal without an option to buy.

Despite the agreement, the move has been delayed as Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has been reluctant to release the 19-year-old due to squad depth concerns. However, the potential arrival of Savinho from Manchester City may facilitate the loan.

Moore’s recent performances have seen mixed reactions. During a preseason match against Hoffenheim, he scored twice, showcasing his ability to move into central areas and finish efficiently. Conversely, following Tottenham's 0-3 Premier League season opener against Brentford, De Zerbi publicly criticized Moore, citing errors made during pressing and struggles in duels, despite Moore creating the team's primary scoring opportunities.
