Mikey Moore makes strong start on loan at FC Köln

Tottenham Hotspur loanee Mikey Moore has made an encouraging start to his season-long loan at FC Köln in the Bundesliga. The 19-year-old attacker, who previously spent a season on loan at Rangers, joined the German side on deadline day after Tottenham secured new attacking signings.

Moore has already featured in his debut against VfB Stuttgart and earned his first start in a recent draw against Werder Bremen. He expressed a desire to entertain the Cologne supporters, stating, “I want to thrill people with my play and get them out of their seats.”

The move was reportedly motivated by Moore's desire to play in a high-level league that could attract the attention of major clubs. He noted that conversations with Cologne head coach René Wagner regarding his offensive role were instrumental in finalizing the transfer.
