Miki Imai celebrates 40th anniversary with tour and remastered releases

Japanese singer Miki Imai is celebrating her 40th anniversary from her debut in 1986 with several major musical releases and performances.

In December 2026, Imai will hold a Billboard Live tour across three cities. The tour includes performances at Billboard Live Yokohama on December 1 and 2, Billboard Live Osaka on December 8, and Billboard Live Tokyo on December 13. Tickets for the Yokohama shows go on sale to club members on October 10, with general sales beginning October 17.

Additionally, Imai is releasing remastered digital versions of her hit singles ‘PIECE OF MY WISH’ and ‘Hitomi ga Hohoemu kara’. These tracks, remastered by engineer Tsubasa Yamazaki, were originally released in 1991 and 1989, respectively. The release also includes 4K remastered live footage of ‘PIECE OF MY WISH’ from her 1994 and 1996 tours, directed by Hiroyuki Nakano.
