Mikito Nakano extends promotional partnership with All Star Boxing and Teiken Promotions
Japanese featherweight boxer Mikito Nakano has extended his promotional partnership with All Star Boxing, Inc. and Teiken Promotions. Nakano, a world-ranked contender with a professional record of 15 wins and one loss—including 14 knockouts—is preparing for a return to the United States in November.
Nakano originally entered the partnership in 2021 to facilitate career development and competition within the U.S. market. His American debut occurred in May 2025 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where he secured a fourth-round technical knockout against Pedro Marquez Medina. Following a loss to Ra’eese Aleem, Nakano recently returned to winning form with a fourth-round stoppage of Lerato Dlamini in Tokyo in May 2026.
Felix “Tuto” Zabala, President of All Star Boxing, Inc., expressed confidence in Nakano’s potential as a leading featherweight contender. Details regarding Nakano’s November opponent and specific fight date are expected to be announced shortly.
